A holy life just wasn't for me |
Sem grandes ambições de ser lido por muita gente, mas com esforço de não deixar de ser escrito! |
Marcus Mumford and Ben Lovett, one half of Mumford and Sons, sit opposite [John Balfe] in The Westbury Hotel [in Galway] wiping the sleep from their eyes as they recount a night of restless sleep on a ferry crossing from the UK to Ireland to talk about their upcoming Gentlemen of the Road Stopovers gig in Galway on 9th June, a show which the band is curating themselves. Marcus immediately launches into recounting a dream had overnight on the ferry about being involved in a plane which plummets into the ocean, oddly remarking that it was “fun”. We’ll leave that one open for dream interpreters.
Listen below as John discusses talks to the band about the Galway gig, a show which is being completely organised by the band themselves, and the band reveal the latest updates about their much-awaited second album.
More information on the Gentleman of the Road Galway Stopover, including ticket information, can be found at the official website.
(Note: By the time [John Balfe] pressed ‘record’, Marcus (the first voice you hear) had already launched into his plane crash dream tale…)
